The International Workshop on Far-Infrared Technologies (IW-FIRT) has been held nine times in the past from 1999 to 2024. In these workshops, we aimed to discuss the recent development and future directions of far-infrared and terahertz science and technologies with a special emphasis on high power radiation sources in this frequency region and their applications. In our view, we think that it is the time to organize the next IW-FIRT to update our knowledge and understanding in this rapidly developing field. In particular, recent progress in the technologies in Asia has been remarkable. Therefore, we are organizing the 10th International Workshop on Far-Infrared Technologies (IW-FIRT 2026) with the theme "The progress of far-infrared technologies in Asia". The workshop shall consist of invited talks, oral presentations and a poster session with the following scope of topics:
2-1) THz spectroscopy, sensing and imaging;
2-2) Magnetic and spintronic phenomena in the THz and far-infrared region;
2-3) Material development with high-power THz/FIR sources;
2-4) Interaction of THz/FIR waves with materials and biomedical systems; and
